SEC Form D data, resolved to the firms behind it
Every private placement in the US is filed with the SEC. What the filings do not say is who is behind them — a sponsor's raises are scattered across dozens of separately-named entities, with nothing linking them.
AltList does that resolution. Connect your AI assistant and ask the questions the filings cannot answer on their own.
| Question | What comes back |
|---|---|
| Who is raising for commercial real estate in Texas? | Named sponsors, amounts raised, amounts remaining |
| How much has this sponsor raised in the last two years? | Full filing history, chained across amendments |
| Which sponsors filed their first deal this quarter? | New entrants, by sector and state |
| What is still open in multifamily under $20M? | Live offerings matching size and sector |
AltList runs an MCP server — the open protocol Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants use to reach external data. You get a private key, paste it into your client once, and the data is available in every conversation. No export, no spreadsheet, no scraping.
